I am happy with being top 10 but with our schedule not sure we will finish the regular season in the top 10.

I know Tenaha "struggled" last year, but dropping to Division II should be on the cusp. Unfortunately for them they are in Mart's region. But Tenaha is definitely a sleeper in Division II.

Hmmn, I like the ranking. Because I do actually believe Shiner will be better overall this year then last year. But, gotta get it done first. Shiner has to get over that hump. Because rankings mean nothing. It’s how you finish.

If Shiner beats Refugio then that will be the key to them winning state. I believe if they do that then State may be theirs. Of course there are other games they need to win but that is the key. Mason will be good and beating Post or Cisco as well.

It will be a tough run for shiner no matter how you slice it. From round 3 on if they make it that far. It appears San Augustine will probably be the favorite in Region 3 as well. They will be hungry as well. So much football must be played before even considering all that. I just know those boys have one hell of a chance. They need to buckle down and get serious this offseason.

Another team not listed here, that I believe could make some serious racket is Thorndale. They will be a tough addition to region 3
