News on my neice

Just an FYI.

Niece was released and then was called next morning to get back to Dallas. They did the transplant Thursday afternoon and the little turd was up and walking the next morning. She wasn't even supposed to be awake that fast. In fact she was doing so well so fast that the head surgeon of the hospital went in to check her because he could not believe she was doing so well. She was moved out of ICU last night into a regular room and today they are talking about moving her across the street to apartments they have for transplant patients. She is supposed to get the chest tube removed today and I believe that is the last tube that is still in her. She is only 21 and tiny so I think that has a big part of how fast she is bouncing back.

Well yesterday was a long day for us. Our niece had two seizures while my wife was there and they are still trying to figure out what caused it. So far it looks like it was caused by then giving her tramadol for a migraine. EEG came back clear, but still waiting on the MRI..
