Joaquin coaches positive for Covid vs Garrison

I did not know that over half the coaching staff was out including the head coach.

Yes, they were. Of the four, we were missing our Head Coach and Defensive Coordinator. Missed two days of practice last week. Had two starters have season ending injuries during the game.. All of this on top of already starting 1 freshman, and 6 sophomores.

& they found a way to gut out a win over a good Garrison team. One of the gutsiest performances in Joaquin's football history. Joaquin's future look really bright with this group of kids. It doesn't get any better this week facing San Augustine with us trying to put pieces back together still missing them ..
