For sure. I see District 15 shaping up like I saw the Kilgore-CHill-Lindale-Pine Tree district in 4A a couple years back. Where the district is fully represented in the regional semis.

That also happened I want to say around ten years ago. It was the first time I've ever see it (A for real district of doom). District with Refugio, Shiner and I can't remember the other two teams. Maybe Weimer and Kenedy? Well anyways all 4 made regional semifinals. It was one of the years where Refugio made it to the state championship game 3 years in a row. Maybe 2016?

Flatonia was the other team, it was Refugio, Shiner, Weimar and Flatonia, and I believe it was 2015

I’ve said for awhile I think Goldthwaite will be our toughest non district game.

I agree . Goldthwaite has a complete team this year great line and skill positions. Has a good chance to go to state. Most state publications don't have the Eagles in the top 10, but I rank them #4 coming in the preseason poll.

De Leon’s current junior class was 14-2 in 7th and 8th grade. The only 2 loses were to Goldthwaite. We’ve seen this coming.

There’s a lot of difference between Thursday night games and Friday night games. That being said, this is the best complete team Goldthwaite fielded in a while. There’s no excuses, we should have a good season with these athletes.

Correct. Shiner beat Weimar in Seguin and Refugio beat Flat

Actually Shiner beat Flatonia 41-7 and Refugio over Weimar 48-7. Shiner won district that year and Refugio won the rematch in round 4. Flatonia was 4th in district and incredibly won the previous 2 weeks convincingly over their opponents. 48-7 over London in bi-district and 31-7 over Junction in Area. Weimar won 40-14 over Three Rivers and then 49-32 over Holland.
