Watching Refugio vs Falfurrias. I don't know if Refugio wins their district. They probably would miss playoffs behind Ganado Shiner Kenedy Weimar in our district.

I think they will win their district which is probably the worst 2A district in the state so that's not saying much. And I agree they would be battling for 4th if they were in yalls district. Only saving grace is their best two players and 2 of the 3 starters returning from last years team that go both ways including the starting qb should be ready to start the season. With a team of only 20 on varsity with mostly underclassman that will be a boost. Ill say it again this will be the worst team since 2005 and also will be worst team for the foreseeable future. Only 5 seniors on the team.

I think they'll be better in 2027 and probably back to your typical Refugio in 2028.

I don't know how good Weimar will be and then Kenedy is ranked but they lost the line and rb. Was Refugio's non district schedule changed to be more manageable based upon what was coming up? I remember the days of playing Geronimo Navarro, Edna, East Bernard.

We had a freshman qb last night vs Industrial as we gave our qb a rest to fully heal up. He played good but he'll have to wait until 2028 as a junior to take the reins.

I didn’t get a JV report but I’m sure they done fine.

Goldthwaite is rocking and rolling again so nice to see. Also glad to see you Crawford is doing well.
