Ganado's chances at state took a hit. A top 3 player on our team snapped his ankle in half today at a track meet. The video is just excruciating. Makes that Louisville kid's in basketball look easy. His ankle is just hanging on.

Prayers for him. My brother graduated with his mom and she was right there filming it.

Mason beat Flatonia 42-29. Sodek did have 18 of Flat’s 29 but Mason bigs were just too good.

Panhandle vs Mason will be an interesting state championship barring a major upset of either in the semis.

We'll just see what happens but it was very severe broke 2 major bones. The x ray and video of the incident is tough. He was our best basketball player. I never found out why he didn't play this year. Super talented.

Our oldest does long and triple, and I’ve had the thought of something like that happening on triple, but it’s never crossed my mind on long.

That’s going to be a long recovery and my heart breaks for him and his parents.
