Bloomington vs Thorndale (24-4) Monday 23rd at 5 p.m. in Sealy.

3 losses to 4a teams and 1 to Fayetteville.

Going to be quite the uphill battle as Thorndale is a very good opponent.

Schulenburg is the other D1 team.

Shiner is top seed for D2.

Weimar and Flatonia are battling for the 2nd seed in D2.

Bloomington beat Shiner in Shiner. Wow. It doesn't change anything standings wise though. Shiner's loss looks like it cost them the district championship. Shiner and Schulenburg would be 11-1 each but the loss moved Shiner to 10-2 giving Schulenburg the district championship.

Sitting here watching Poth up 28-9 at halftime on Hallettsville. Varsity girls basketball in Seguin. My friend is having a hard time stopping Poth's sophomore who averages over 20 a game.

I stopped at Schulenburg Wataburger after the game. Poth was too much especially with 00 having such a great basketball IQ and ball handling. She can really pass well and has good court vision.
At Wataburger in Schulenburg I saw the Stockdale basketball team. They lost 45-30 the coaching told me. Tidehaven won.

I am curious if Flatonia girls will win state. I think they have a real shot. Flatonia beat Rosebud-Lott 83-33.

Schulenburg beat Thorndale 44-22.

Shiner girls won 55-48 over Granger, they get Evadale next.
