Chilton 34 Mart 0
Never thought i'd see Mart get handled like that at home in a district game. Just shows even the best of programs hit a bump in the road sometimes.

Re: 2025 WEEK 6 SCOREBOARD
Two of our best players got hurt against Tidehaven, came back for Flatonia on offense only. They didn't play defense vs Kenedy either. We were flat all game and I think overlooked Kenedy. We had a lot of penalties and were pretty vanilla on playcalling. That was I think not show much vs Wrimar.

Re: 2025 WEEK 6 SCOREBOARD
The other thing is our offensive line play of all underclassmen has been struggling. We are having issues pass blocking, opening holes in the run game, and committing penalties causing us to struggle. Also, Kenedy was very balanced offensively and does have skill position players. They had one lineman go both ways, we have 4.

Re: 2025 WEEK 6 SCOREBOARD
A general lack of depth and a young team as well as injuries add up. We are still 5-1 but the next 2 weeks vs Weimar and Schulenburg are huge.

Curious how your depth will stack up against Weimar’s 5 deep in the back field and ability to give linemen breaks.ganadofan1 wrote: ↑Sat Oct 04, 2025 11:20 pm A general lack of depth and a young team as well as injuries add up. Also, I know I’m somewhat new to the area, but how does Ganado have 214 students to Weimar’s 199 but Weimar has 51 players and Ganado has 20 something? Am I missing something? Or there that many more girls at Ganado than boys?

Re: 2025 WEEK 6 SCOREBOARD
There are 2 classes in hs with close to 70% girls. We have had 3 volleyball teams for several years now. Even with the same enrollment during the 90s and early 2000s we'd have 55-70 come out for football.
