Shiner was in it until the 7th inning. That's where it got away from them.

Shiner fans wished us luck after their game. What a game we had. Twice now we barely won after Shiner losses in title games of football and softball.

Congratulations!! I totally forgot about the State Tournament today and noticed that Sundown had won. So I went to the UIL website and followed on the live stats broadcast. Riesel led 3-2 when I started following.

2020 was the last time Region I won the State Championship. Stamford was led by current University of Texas pitcher Citaly Gutierrez.

Reisel was winning until we took lead in the 7th. We are fortunate to have won.
