Ganado vs Marlin
Who will win it?
From my perspective, Marlin's speed is my main concern. But I feel that Ganado's defense can hold them.

I'm the original Ganado fan #1. Jk.
Marlin has talent and size so we'll need to play a good game offensively.

Good to meet you GF1.
I was the first to use the name about 14-15 years ago or so.
I think we have a good chance.

I don't know who is picked by the professionals but I am thinking Ganado by 7ish.

I agree with your assessment. I am hopeful we will score more this time than we did against Refugio.ganadofan1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 6:25 am I don't know who is picked by the professionals but I am thinking Ganado by 7ish.

Re: Ganado vs Marlin
I am concerned about Honey Grove if we win this week. They have a 4 star at qb, being recruited as a wr. Ganado rarely has a d1 athlete. We've had 3 linemen go d1 and all of them were 2 stars I believe.

What concerns you about Honey Grove? I hear your concern. We have had some great athletes too before, I remember the 2009-2011 teams, and Blake Schlueter was amazing. But one or two great players by themselves don't make a team. This current team has an important characteristic. They really play together and feed off of each other. They gang tackle and seem to always be looking out for each other. But, we will see. I am excited to see how things go tonight.ganadofan1 wrote: ↑Wed Dec 04, 2024 12:27 pm I am concerned about Honey Grove if we win this week. They have a 4 star at qb, being recruited as a wr. 2008 and 2009 Cayuga had Shead and Kenedy UT and Aggie commits and then last year Bussey. I think we win tonight. I'll be there.
