Something tells me the varsities may very well play twice this year as well! lol!

I was just noting them playing twice because so many others schools don’t have JVs in our district. I’m very glad they made that arrangement actually. To give both our JV squads another game.

I think FC had about 48-50 come out. It will be close to 60 next year.

You Guys talking about playing someone twice so that they have games. I would rather do that as the kids deserve to have games. They practice hard in the heat and put in the work and should be rewarded with games. I remember a few years ago, our Junior High teams played Hamlin three times that season so that the kids of both schools could have games. We have also run into schools that do not have JV teams, so we have to look for someone else for them to play. I know that the JV has played schools twice if it can be arranged.

Oh yeah, I know folks were worried about Shiner going division 2 with fear of us not being able to find JV and junior high games. I was glad to see Falls City had scheduled our JV twice. Which is why I mentioned it. Great for both schools.

We are kind of in the same boat.
Our JV and Jr high teams will probably have to play the same opponents twice this year.

BTW, I forgot to post this, but we had 52 kids that came out, 27 for JV and 25 for Varsity.

Ganado has about 37 or 38. Depth is probably our weak point.
