The Eagles lose game two 5-6. They lead 5-2 going into the bottom of the 7th, but the bullpen wasn't able to stop a Holland rally. Game 3 is tomorrow and J.C. will have a Freshmen on the mound. After Slawinski went out, pitching depth became their biggest weakness which was exposed by the Hornets tonight.

J.C. plays Holland tonight in Dripping Springs at 6:30. Winner moves on and loser goes home. The Eagle bats are going to have to hit the ball like their lives depend on it if they want to see the next round, because pitching probably won't win them this game. It would be a shame to have Jacobs lose in the first round considering all he has accomplished for J.C. He will be the only starter J.C. loses next season, but his leadership will be missed! Win or lose tonight, always an Eagle, go J.C.!

J.C. beat Holland last night 13-6 to clinch the series. The Eagles hit the ball well and Freshmen Lorenzen pitched four shutout innings to end the game allowing 2 hits and striking out 7. They definitely showed a lot of heart in this one!

Thanks! Yeah it has been cool to see the team come together after losing their ace to injury. They might not make it to the region final like last season, but I can guarantee they won't go down without a fight. No matter the outcome, this is invaluable experience for the 3 Freshmen and 2 Sophomore that are starters. There is only one Senior on the team, so they basically return everyone including their ace who is a Baylor commit.

J.C. beats Evadale and their ace 3-1 in game one. Jacobs continued his hot streak with 15 Ks, 1 hit allowed, and 0 ER in 7 IP. He also went 2-2 at the plate with two triples and 2 RBI. Game two is tomorrow at 1.
