Jacobs had a grand slam and Ledbetter allowed 2 hits and 1 earned run in 4 innings of work. Today J.C. plays Navarro and next week J.C. plays San Saba and then Harper.

Ganado over Shiner 3-2 in 11 innings yesterday. Ganado won on a passed ball.

J.C. 9-7 (4-1) beat San Saba 10-0 on Tuesday and lost to Harper 2-1 tonight. Jacobs has uncharacteristically lost his last 3 starts which is more loses than he had his Freshmen through Junior seasons combined. This team is more talented than last seasons team which makes the way they have been playing puzzling. They will need to get things figured out or else it will be an early playoff exit for them. Next week the Eagles play Harper and St. Andrews.

[Jon91]

J.C. gets revenge and dominates Harper 11-1 in 5 innings. Slawinski had 13 Ks in 5 IP and almost the entire Eagle lineup had a hit or more in this one. Thursday J.C. plays St. Andrews and then next Friday gets back at it in district against a very tough Mason team 12-2 (6-0).

Shiner bounces back from the Ganado loss with an 11-1 win over Weimar in 5 innings.

[Jon91]

J.C. beats St. Andrews 3-2 in a pitchers duel. Jacobs finally ends his losing streak and finishes the night with 12 Ks in 6 IP. The Eagles get a week off and then face Mason next Friday.

Shiner bounces back from the Ganado loss with an 11-1 win over Weimar in 5 innings.

Is Schuette hurt? I assumed he would be Shiner's ace, but I noticed he hasn't pitched much this season.
