Goldthwaite has been my 2nd most favorite team for many years.

We are still rebuilding, but getting better.
The Jr High and Jv teams are looking really good.
Our coaches are doing a great job enforcing discipline.

I was proud of our kids last night. The lineman opened some holes and the backs hit them hard and fast.
The defense came up with some big plays when they needed them. It was an overall good team effort. Now we need to carry that momentum into next week.

You guys will handle the Ganado alum coaching Florence. I played with Drew Bridges but from what I have seen the team is really bad in terms of scores and wins.

Maybe but as a HC he has won 1 game in his 4th year now. I like the guy but he hasn't exactly been at winning programs as a HC. He's had some tough assignments.

He was valedictorian of the 2006 class and all but one of his 6 family members were/are coaches. Guy is nice, smart, etc just hasn't been at a winning program or one close to it.
