Blonddad here. Really hope there is football this fall. Retired in January and moved up to Parker County out of Weatherford. Lived in Matagorda County for over 45 years before moving north. Graduated from Tidehaven. Will miss watching the Tigers play this year but plan on catching area games up here. Love small school football.

Howdy All, I'm Mart C., from Cisco Tx.
In 2002 a guy I worked with talked me into going to a game to watch his boy play. It had been years since I'd been to a High School football game, but we had nothing better to do so my wife and I went, and got hooked
Fast forward 18 years and the kid we had gone to watch that night, who was a RB/LB, has now taken over the Head Coaching job from the Legend,(to many of us from Cisco, anyway) Brent West. And, we're still hooked.
In the off season I occupy myself with fishing, flinging arrows and working for a living.
Hope everyone can stay safe and healthy, and we all get to enjoy those Friday Night Lights all season long!

Finally found you guys!! I was on this site many moons ago when I coached and had a son at 2A Maud Tx. Loved meeting folks from all over Texas and sharing our love for small school football!! We had four very good years at Maud and then myself and the AD moved to larger schools. I have been retired now for 4 years but still keep up with all the small schools. Best of luck to you all and look forward to getting re-acquainted!!
