***Updated Below*** Tomorrow is Hudson's big Surgery

Morning update from my Son Matt.

Hudson looks so much better, and his numbers are looking amazing! But we are not through yet!
We had a rough night last night, outside of the normal outbursts there was a good 2 hour fight to keep him restrained as he was tearing everything off of him, he was absolutely pissed. He wouldn’t be my son if he wasn’t.
This morning he recognized me physically so that tells me the medicine sitting on his body is finally processing correctly.
As far as his heart beat and the way it communicates, they are saying today most of his rhythm is sinus which means the top and bottom of his heart is talking correctly.
So far this morning he has drank a full cup of Gatorade but wouldn’t eat anything. He is 100 times better but had 100 miles to go! Starting low fat diet and Lasix today.

Lord, please help Hudson and keep him in your hands and comfort hid and return him to his wanted success from this surgery. In Jesus name Amen.

Sleep sweet baby boy, they are going to continue to give him medicine to keep him sleepy so he will rest through the whole night, and tomorrow we are gonna try to wake up as normal and try to get him to eat, play, and work on getting some of these lines off of him.
Good news is, his kidney numbers are back to normal!!!!! So that means the plan the dr and the nurses have is working!

His recovery is up and down every day........I want to pull my hair out at this point but then it has only been 4 days since this major surgery.... They said weeks.

Morning update from my son Matt about my Grandson Hudson:


Matthew Barnett is at Children's Medical Center Dallas.

Well we thought Hudson was going to sleep all night but that wasn’t the case, Hudson heart beat spiked and stayed around 150 throughout the night even with medicine to help it come down, it’s at 149 as we speak. He hasn’t truly slept but maybe a total of 30 min straight at one time, so I’m afraid he is going to be super tired today when the team is trying to get him eating and drinking and sitting up. We ask if you can pray that the pain and whatever Hudson is still struggling with in his little body goes away and he can recover fully.

Big Big day for Hudson, they are going to check him for any viruses, remove his cath, remove one of his drain tubes, give him Lasix and check his lungs and make sure the fluids he is drinking is going to the right place. Hudson today is more comfortable than he has ever been, and only gets fussy if he is uncomfortable.
