Choke Canyon State Park

Post by Comanchealumni06 »

I’ve been to this one a few times. It’s a rare one because it actually has a swimming pool in the park. I’ve never done much fishing on this lake but I hear that it’s pretty good. It’s situated with 2 separate units along the lake shore. The Callahan Unit and South Shore Unit. Both have plenty of campsites. Not a bad spot in South Texas. Between Three Rivers and Tilden however, you really want to get there most likely!

I’ve gone to the Callahan unit and taken some deer pictures there. If you go, take a camera. There are some nice bucks there.
It’s a pretty good day when you’re on your way and you like where you’re going, and you’ve got what you want and you want what you’ve got and you’re wise enough to know it.

I bet! They have a draw for hunts there along with many other parks during the fall.
