Congrats to the Hawley girls! Archer City and Windthorst coaches have decided to share the district title. Seeding will use the town/zipcode "coin-flip" method between the two coaches. If I have figured it right, one of us should be up with Hawley in the Area round I think.

Hawley VB is district 6, right?

I saw today in the Hico paper were Hico was supposed to play either Archer City or Windthorst in the playoffs Nov 6th in Breckenridge. I don't know if that is right or not.

That means that we are the W5 seed and Archer City is the R5 seed which means Hawley-Windthorst and Archer City-Miles in the third round in all likelihood.

Looks like we get DeLeon in the second round as they were the runner-up in D8 and there is no 2A third place team in D7 and since there was only one 2A in D7 we have a bye in the first round as well as AC.

2A Windthorst defeated 4A Graham in a volley ball playoff warm up game Friday in Graham. Graham had some excellent hitters but the Trojanettes blockers were ip to the challenge. Good match!
