These enrollments still fall within the 1A classification unless they opt up to 11 man.

They will stay 6-man. These were the ones in Central Texas who could have been forced to move up due to enrollment increase.

Has there ever been 210 in 2A before? I know there was 206 before. And I think you’re spot on with basketball, they may take those numbers into consideration for 2A as well.

Also, your missing Rocksprings from the board, are they still playing 11 man?

Whoa! Did Rocksprings decide to drop down and play 6-man now?

Numbers from 2022-2024 Alignment (taken from a post on the board)
2A Division I 164.5 – 249 (106 schools)
2A Division II 105 – 164.4 (102 schools)

Regarding Rocksprings DCTF didn't have their enrollment listed. I took the previous UIL "rank" realignment numbers and then manually input the new snapshot numbers from various sources. Deleted the basketball only schools to make my list. I wonder how many basketball schools were in the 2022-24 alignment?

I'm surprised they don't have a Mart number yet! Their TEA number from last was 167 for 8th-11th grade but I know they got a 6'7 300 OL senior transfer from an area town this year.

Rocksprings is listed as 2AD2 on Dave Campbells, but their entire schedule was against 6-man teams this season. No district it looks like.

Last alignment they were assigned to District 14 and played 11 man last year (2-7) but looks like they played an "outlaw" 6-man schedule this year. Looking at their FB Athletics page they only have 16 HS kids out for football.

Gotcha! I didn’t realize they quit playing 11 man

That was me that made the post. I had 241 and he had 244, so take that FWIW.

Sburg is most certainly headed up in our district. Also, being told in Weimar to get ready to move north into a new district most likely with several 3A schools south of I10 headed into new 2A districts.

My guess is we join Thorndale and whoever makes up that district or Marlin’s district, if that indeed happens.
I wouldn’t be so sure, Schulenburg turned in 250, that’s below the last cutoff still. And as Windthorstfan pointed out, it’s looking like there will only be 210 schools under the last cutoff number of 254. Last time it was 206! That’s only 4 more schools overall in 2A. It’s actually very possible it doesn’t change at all. And Schulenburg might not be going anywhere! Also, don’t forget about Danbury out there. Weimar and Ganado are the closest 2 schools to Danbury. Them being in 2AD1 will continue to have a profound effect on region 4s alignment. We could very well be looking at 2, 8 team districts down this way. I could even see a scenario where Dilley gets bunched into D14. Making a 7 team district a possibility still.
