If Weimar loses Friday they are nearly eliminated. Shiner and Schulenburg will be 1 and 2.

I just saw Shiner beat Flatonia by 2 and remains undefeated in district. Schulenburg beat Weimar by 4 last night I believe.

Crazy thing. I just looked at Ganado baseball schedule and we play Victoria West.

Our softball team play Corpus Christi Calallen.

Another night, another game where Weimar led the whole game and lost it in the last minute to Bloom.

Big kid from DeSoto that moved in, probably had a triple double for Bloom. Bloom won 38-36.

Yea that's a halftime score. Lol. He finally started playing varsity. I think #3 is their best player, he's a sophomore. Their problem is they don't have any outside shooters.

Yes. Two of them.

It was an ugly game. And yes #3 is Bloom’s best player. His little brother is in 8th grade and is their best player too. My guess is little bro is on Varsity next year.

I may be mistaken, but I believe Shiner, Bloom and Ganado are all tied for 2nd in that 8th grade district with 2 losses each. Each team has one really good player then a bunch of JAGs. Bures is Ganado’s.

Some think the younger 7th grade Bures is better at basketball. Bures in 8th has more height and speed but 7th has better dribbles and shooting.

I live north of Houston so catching games is hard for me. I obviously make the football games as I announce our home football varsity games. Next year is my 8th year. I worked the clock at a middle school I work at here and play music for my a school's basketball games. I introduce the our home team to the Bulls intro from the 90s. It's big time for jh basketball.

I have only heard 1 varsity game as good as what I puton and that was a playoff game at Humble high school. Fayetteville vs someone last year. I pick up stuff at UH games and any other games mostly hs and college. I try to mold it into what I do to improve.
