Re: Introductions
Howdy I'm Albanyfan0678 and thank you for having me. I'm a Albany Alumni but i live now in Abilene serving the good folks at the Abilene State Supported Living Center as a Residential Campus Supervisor. not much more to tell other than when I was younger aside from football i spent much of my time doing various activity's in the BSA in troop 255 where i got my Eagle Scout rank. I use to be on the 1a Texas football forums in high school as Albany was 1a at the time and have kept an interested in the team ever since. hope to have many good discussion here and learn a thing or two.

Re: Introductions
I am back on the forum after a few years away. Previously, I was the "Ganado Fan." The boys from Shiner and Goldthwaite will remember me from 10+ years ago. Since then, several have used my old name in one form or another. Despite my absence on the forum, I have remained a fan on the sidelines and followed along through streaming. It's good to see things haven't changed too much. Good luck to all. Go Indians!

Re: Introductions
Howdy! I went with a real original name in Weimar.
We moved to Weimar in the Summer of 2023 from Magnolia. We had a farm out here, and as Mag West and Mag exploded into 6A schools, we got out of dodge, moved here, and we haven't looked back. My wife's father's side of the family has been around these parts for 6 generations.
My wife and I have 2 boys in Weimar ISD, 8th and 5th grade. The 8th grader does all 4 sports and I'm sure the 5th will follow in his footsteps.
I am from Longview, and still love East Texas Football (I'm just loving it out here more these days)! Graduated HS in 2000, A&M in 2004 and Ohio State in 2006. I am the Director of Sales for a Global Electrical Distribution company. When I'm not traveling for work, I'm attending a ton of games for the boys. I also do radio for the Wildcats, including Football, Basketball, Baseball and Softball when they need me. One other Dad and myself were successful starting Weimar's AAU/Alodia Basketball circuit this past Summer. Proud to say our 8th grade team took down a host of 5A/6A club teams to win one of the tourneys this year. We plan on continuing that during Basketball season (on the weekends) and working it in around 7 on 7 and Baseball next Summer.
Looking forward to realignment when the Weimar, Ganado, Shiner district will be known as the best in the state!
