Lady Comanches had a very tough day… lost 13-7 to Weimar in game 2 after giving away a 7-0 lead… then lose game 3 in the bottom of the 8th after holding a 3-2 lead… Weimar hit a walkoff 3 run homer to beat Shiner in game 3, 5-3… just a heartbreaker… congrats to Weimar and good luck at the state tournament!

Lady Comanches are extremely young. Only 2 seniors. And not very many juniors either. Team is made up of mostly freshman and sophomores. They’ll learn from this. And might be an extremely difficult team to beat over the next few years.

Weimar wins the state title! Congrats to Weimar! Only proves how deeply talented their district really was! And is year in and year out! They tie Shiner for most state titles of any program in any classification if I’m correct. Shiner and Weimar hoist 6 softball titles each!
