Windthorst 49
Holliday 43

What a shootout to start the year, and lots to work from for both coaches this week. I believe that is the 4th Trojan win ever against Holliday in football to take the series to 15-4-1, Eagles. It's usually a tough game, regardless of Holliday holding that advantage. I am glad they renewed what has typically been a very challenging way to kickoff a season, for both squads.

I didn’t catch Shiners game last night. Went to watch my nephew play for Leander against Pflugerville last night. But it sounded like turnover city for Industrial in the first half. And Shiner just put it to em!

J.C. beat Falls City 14-6. The Eagle defense completely shut down the Beaver offense after their first touchdown. Ugly ugly game though. J.C. had double digit penalties with many being completely unnecessary that continuously killed drives or kept FC drives going. Discipline needs to be the focus going into next week.

Ganado had some penalties but a bigger issue were turnovers at the 13 and 2 yard lines as well as one of our fumbles that was scooped and scored. That's 21 point swing. We could have won by more.
