Weimar has been to the 3rd round 3 times I believe. Actually has a 16-12 series lead on Ganado. Some folks are skeptical about playoff success for Weimar. If y'all beat us Refugio awaits in the 3rd round and won't beat them.

If we lose and get 2nd we'd get Refugio in the 4th round. Wouldn't be a bad thing.

You are correct on playoff success. I think you have the seedings backwards on the rounds with Refugio though. I believe second gets Refugio 3rd round.

No he is correct, Winner of 15 would find the winner of 16 in round 3. This happened between Shiner and Refugio multiple times over the years. You’re thinking back to when Weimar was in D13 with Holland, Thorndale, etc. 2nd place arguably gets the easier route and wouldn’t find Refugio until round 4 at the earliest. It sucks, but been that way for years. The 2019 round 3 dogfight between Refugio and Shiner is the perfect example. Refugio came from behind to win the game in the last minute over Shiner. Refugio would go on to win state and no one else came within 3 TDs of Refugio. And Refugio suffered some big injuries bs Shiner. I remember Refugio’s QB wasn’t 100% the rest of the playoffs. So basically you had the state final in round 3. From a points perspective.

And Ganado was winner of D15 last season and Refugio the winner of D16. They played in round 3.

Yea. I wouldn't be mad losing and getting Refugio until thr 4th round. Of course the competitor says don't do that. Our coaches aren't wired to lose intentionally. Should be a dandy. Don't lose to the Gators like UT did. Lol

The computer missed the Bangs and Ballinger pick by a long shot.
Bangs 48-0.
In fact I think I was the only one who picked Bangs to win.
They started running the Wing-T offense last season and it’s finally starting to pay dividends for them since most teams have a hard time stopping it.
Of course Ballinger may have had some injuries last night for this game to be so lopsided.
