Re: DCTF Pre-season Rankings
Just out of curiosity, are your areas hard hit by Covid Cases? Wichita County (Wichita Falls) is up to 201 confirmed, 117 active at home with 3 additional in the hospital, 79 recovered. There are 658 pending tests, some of which are for pre-screens for medical procedures. ~8.5K tested with ~7.7K negative. Archer County has had 3 cases, not sure in what towns.

Jackson County has 3 confirmed cases active now I believe. Victoria area has several hundred 200 to 300 now I believe.

Erath County ( Stephenville ) is having a spike. I heard at least 55 cases now. Apparently a concert at one of the college bars was packed full f people. Well someone was sick and went apparently. Hamilton County has several in the Southeast portion due to the Gatesville Prison. Several Staff members live in the Jonesboro area.Windthorstfan wrote: ↑Tue Jun 23, 2020 8:58 am Just out of curiosity, are your areas hard hit by Covid Cases? I noticed many schools, large and small, are postponing their Summer workouts due to players/coaches testing positive. Yesterday I saw Coahoma and Forsan postponing their workouts.

There likely won't be a season at all. Dave Campbell's was smart enough to get their money from the magazine early though.

Re: DCTF Pre-season Rankings
Heard in WF there was a "pre-season" party for the coaches in the ISD. Someone that attended party knew they might be exposed, but didn't feel sick and attended anyway. Needless to say their test came back positive and now my understanding is WFISD has shut down workouts. People need to use common sensse.

It is spreading here in Abilene. I hope there is a season but with all of the news rolling out of Austin about outbreaks its not looking good.. Man I wish people would have just stayed home.

Re: DCTF Pre-season Rankings
Wichita County has a population of 132K. On June 12 there were 100 Total cases and 20 Active Cases. Two weekes later 250 cases and 169 active cases. Went from 0 in the hospital to now 10. Newspaper reports that all in the hospital are in stable condition for whatever that means. I would assume non-ICU. 3 in the 30-39 age group, 3 in the 40-49, 2 in the 50-59, 1 in the 60-69, and 1 +70. Article in yesterday's paper stated The Texas Hospital Association said despite the recent uptick in COVID-19 cases, hospitals in the state have the necessary capacity to continue caring for the influx of patients.
