Many kids do not get taught the fundamental key points of the game...how to bunt, run bases, what the infield fly rule is, etc. The playing is great as it is in all sports..working on skills outside of the school teams.

Doing well haven't lost since Bowie tourney; however our district w/exception of ya'll and us is so weak hard to tell, good news a lot of freshman getting lots of playing time. My daughter had a in the parker against Graford.
We will for sure find out where we are at against ya'll, just hope we battle well.

Wildaggie wrote:To have 36 girls come out for softball at the 1A level is crazy. Weimar does not have enough kids out this year to field a JV and it really hurts the kids who are close to starting at the varsity level. Practice is good but it doesn't take the place of a live game.

Was a great game, both shld be commended. Windy scores 6 of their runs w 2 outs was just a good contest. Matter o fact I don't believe there was one walk. Just hits, plays and strike outs. Windy was very aggressive on base path. And AC battled to the end.

My daughter did hit her first home run against Leon last week. It was her first home run ever including little league so that was cool. If we beat Bremond then we have a playoff game to make the playoffs. So we still have a chance.

No argument there, Archer City was the better team Saturday. Both games have been won by the team that made no errors. Fully agree with hour statement above and kind of neat we stay in Archer County (@Holliday) for game #3!
Winner gets the first round bye in the playoffs.
