I just got a notice from Mason ISD that Brackett has notified Mason that they have shut down the football Program for a while. Friday nights game is rescheduled for Nov. 6, 2020. Mason sub-varsity game this week are not scheduled with Brackett, so they will play as scheduled.

Postponed until November 6, so no thanks; we hope to see them in the regional round. However, if Brackettville then forfeits and cost us one of only 4 home games, and Senior Night, we will happily play anyone who will come to the Puncherdome!

I'm sure Mason can find someone within a 2 hour radius to play.

A team is only allowed to play 10 games in a regular season. Mason has played 8 games. They have Ozona next week and the rescheduled game with Bracket in week 11. That makes 10 games. If Brackett cancels the week 11 make up game then maybe we would be looking for a game that week.

Dist. 14 D1 moved their open dates to week 11 so they would have a chance to have make up games if some had to be postponed because of Covid.
