San Saba river shootout, lot's of times the best team want win. I've never been to this game but for years on this post aka Tim the post man..ssoriole play by play post and updates made me feel like I was sitting on the 50yd. line. RIP

Yep he was a good one.

IMO, the 1993 Goldthwaite state championship team was the best of our four state championship teams.
They lost to San Saba at the graveyard 13-6.
San Saba didn’t even make the playoffs that year.
