We should win 3 in a row. Our pitcher is a junior and committed to UH. That junior class is 80% girls. Problem is it hurts our boys football numbers. After next year there will be a drop off softball wise.

Hopefully we get another 2 titles but need luck and health on our side.

Just don’t get overconfident, look at shiner last season. I think everyone thought it was a lock. And it just didn’t happen. I’ve seen that happen to a few very very talented softball teams in Shiner.

I’m beat after running the roads today. Congrats to the UH fans.

Weimar won 3rd place in a 8 team tourney.

Lost to Duncanville 62-58. We couldn’t have played any better. They were just better. Shot lights out and mostly controlled tempo, but they must have had 30-40 points in transition off TOs.

Beat a SE Houston team that feeds Pearland, Friendswood and Deer Park 67-60.

Then crapped all over The Woodlands 53-31.

Ahh you want that 3-peat. Shiner came oh so close in 2017. A bad inning in the bottom of the 6th cost the girls though. They were leading the whole way through till then. Calallen and Coahoma have had 3-peats since then. Shiner however still leads the state in softball titles and appearances in the old tournament and finals

I believe Shiner also leads the state in playoff wins as well, not sure though.

Many don’t realize that. Shiner has 7 state titles in softball. Weimar comes in 2nd in the state with 6 of their own. Making this district a truly brutal one with Ganados current dominance! Shiner has appeared in the state tournament 14 times. They were in the region final several other times besides those years. So you can see why they hold the playoff win record too.
