I was at Big Lou's for the 1st time ever in San Antonio today and they have a plaque by their front door about Shiner Brewery.

I took a picture but it says the size of it is too big to upload.

My bro-in-law got the $50 and $200 bottle. I think the $50 bottle tastes much better lol!
My wife got me the $200 but I’ll make my way down there for Basketball in the next month and I’ll grab the $50 to take you up on that.
I do know this, everyone palate is different. There’s bourbons I love that friends absolutely hate lol. And vice versa! The $50 bottle is a lower proof as well, which makes it a bit smoother too.
Very true. My normal bourbon go to is Woodford Double Oaked, Angels Envy and EH Taylor depending on how frisky I am feeling.

Moving to a German town and not drinking much beer is foreign to a lot of the friends we’ve made here, but I keep the liquor store (bourbon shelf) in business here 😆

I like the Angels Envy and EH Taylor Single barrel is alright. Haven’t had the Woodford though
