Well Stepp thinks our district is Shiner, Ganado, Weimar, Flat, Bloom, Dan

Kenedy goes with Refugio and the Valley.
The one thing throwing off 2AD1 Region 4 is where they put SA YMLA (San Antonio Young Men's Leadership Academy), they were 4AD2 2 years ago, last year they were 3AD2 in a district with Poth in 2024 and 2025, and they just turned in 196 so that puts them in 2AD1.....Stepp has them in the Mason district but I think that's too far of travel for YMLA....so I could see them in the Shiner, Ganado, Weimar, Flatonia district
They turned in 244 last time. Which was within 2AD1. They must’ve opted up. So the question is, will they do that again or stay in 2AD1 this time.

Dallas Gateway turned in 112 last alignment, so they opted all the way up to 3AD2? And Trinity TLC turned in 241… so they must’ve opted up as well. So none of these 3 schools are likely to be in 2AD1. I wonder why they all opted up?

UIL has suspended all athletic activities for Dallas Gateway. They failed to meet with UIL officials over possible football violations. I used 103 as the number UIL published playing football in the classification cut-offs.

Your list makes perfect sense based on all that. I just wonder if these decisions are final? Have all schools made a final decision regarding which classification they’ll stay in?

Found the discrepancy between our lists, I had 103 for D2. What will happen with Boys Ranch? They were 1AD1 last alignment. But they turned in 115 this round. Are they going 11 man or playing an outlaw 6-man?

I had originally added Boys Ranch to make my list 103, but again UIL published 102 schools.

1A schools I added
Crosbyton 84
D'Hanis 88
Iraan 98
Shamrock 100.5
Hull-Daisetta 104
Ralls 104

The other thought too is what about those schools that canceled their seasons last year. Does UIL let them back in?

That actually crossed my mind too. Are they all coming back? Or is there still a concern about numbers? Great question there too though.
