Shiner wins game 2 and the series over Agua Dulce 11-0 in 6 innings. They face Falls City in the Area Round next week. No details on the matchup yet.

J.C. beats Rosebud-Lott 3-0 in their one gamer. Slawinski overwhelmed their lineup allowing only 1 hit while striking out 16 batters through 7 innings(also hit his 13th HR). The Eagles did not hit the ball well overall though and will need to get out of that slump if they want to beat a tough Mumford team next week.

If I was still living in Ganado I'd go see that Shiner Falls City game in Yoakum. I live way out in Shepherd, TX now.

Yeah this new format had some really tough teams matching up in the first round. Teams like Iola and Kerens would have probably made it 3-4 rounds deep in the previous format.
