They only lost 3 to graduation from last years squad. Now add in the split divisions. They’ve certainly got a shot.

Johnson City softball has looked really good this season. Senior laden team that returned everyone with 3 really solid pitchers and a lot of power (11 HR spread out among 6 players). Their only loss is a close one to 5A El Dorado and their two ties are to 5A Chapin and 3A Marion. They run ruled #8 in 3A Blanco and have dominated every 2A team they have faced. Their district is very weak though so we will see how battle tested they are come playoffs!

J.C. beats Goldthwaite 22-2 in 3 innings. The Lady Eagles hit 5 homers in this one spread out among four players!

Yes they did, Weimar came from behind to win it too. Shiner only lost 3 players. But 2 of them were stars. So who knows! Weimar is a big time rival as well. Still caught me off guard seeing them lose that one. But, could be exactly what those girls needed too.
