I agree. I was thinking Flatonia should be top 10. They all 3 seem to be ranked to low but I guess we'll find out what's what soon enough. Can't wait for baseball. Basketball is all fine but baseball I prefer more.
Yeah they are definitely under ranked in the TXHSBaseball poll. The THSBCA poll that just dropepd seems to be a little more accurate minus Shiner imo. I would like to see a J.C. and Flatonia rematch, because they never saw our ace who missed the entire playoffs with an injury. Can't wait for this season to get rolling!

I’m not surprised that Shiner was left out of the top 10 getting the season started. They are very young. But I’ll be surprised if they don’t rise up as the season progresses

J.C. won their first scrimmage 7-4 tonight against a very good Bracken Christian team. There were multiple pro scouts there to see Slawinski and he didn't disappoint with 5 Ks and 0 hits allowed through two innings. The rest of the pitching staff was very solid as well, finishing with 12 Ks and only 2 earned runs as a team. The Eagle bats looked greatly improved from last season collecting 15 hits for the game. Overall great first scrimmage for the Eagles! They scrimmage 5A Sam Houston on Friday.

Well, sounds like we might be losing this web forum. Hope not, but I understand where Boss is coming from.

I just saw... That's unfortunate, but I completely understand. I also mentioned that I would being willing to pitch in some cash to help as well, but when it comes down to I respect whatever decision he makes. If this really is the end, I will miss our baseball talk. Shame there is no where else for it.

Yeah for sure, really is sad that there’s nowhere else for it. Maybe Facebook is the answer lol. This is really a great forum, just sad how everyone bailed on it.

Johnson City's LHP Johnny Slawinski is the 2nd ranked overall prospect in Texas for 2025. He is projected to be drafted by the 3rd round in the upcoming MLB draft. Huge honor for a 2A kid!

Ganado and St. Joseph scrimmaged Thursday but we snuck into the basketball playoffs so most of our guys won't be available until Tuesday. We likely will lose to a good Thorndale on Monday in basketball.
