I have been watching Texas high school football for over 50+ years, and this was one of the best games I have ever seen. The Shiner/Muenster game was one as well. Just talked to one of the families in town, and they are on "cloud 9." It's difficult to describe what this means to this small town. Others who have experienced this know the effects it has on future teams and the mindset of the community. It establishes a tradition and sets up a constant goal of achievement that changes things in the lives and hearts of these kids. Way to go, Indians!

Two very good games in the 2a state championship. It felt like Ganado could have won it a little easier than we did but your first championship doesn't come easy. Stamford never stopped coming at us and they deserve credit for a fantastic season.

I was in Kacer's barbershop today. Never seen it so busy. I was in there about an hour and I saw 15 or more people come in and talk.

We won't be waiting 96 years for another title I hope. With Ervin here I believe we'll get another on hopefully multiple more.

4 years of KBG and 2 of Bryce Ullman at qb for Ganado. The next qb will have big shoes to fill.

I thought we had a chance to go up 28-14 at one point and then it was 21-21.
