Im going to nominate region 2 as the Caldron of Doom for 2a d2. since 2014 7 of 9 teams going to state have been from region 2 on that side of the bracket with it almost always being different teams going to state. Muenster, Windthorst, Hamlin, Albany and Iraan being the represenitives from their since then.
