Mumford sweeps Harper 5-2 and 14-0. Nine errors and sixteen walks in both games combined doomed the Longhorns. Harper returns virtually everyone next season, so they will be back. Great season Longhorns!

Looks like the Shiner/Mumford rematch is probably going to happen. That is going to be a dogfight!

Kenedy beats Flatonia 4-2. Definitely wasn't expecting that outcome!

J.C. leads Burton 15-14 in the top of the 7th with 2 outs and is in lightning delay. J.C. lead this game 12-0 after 3 innings with Jacobs pitching a perfect game. Then Jacobs was pulled for some reason and this is why we are where we are. He got put back in, but after 11 runs were already scored. The Eagles are an out away from winning this one, but Burton has a runner on first and second and the current batter has a 3-1 count.

Slawinski comes in and gets a strikeout to end the game. A win is a win, but this should of been a run rule victory. On the positive side J.C. hit the ball the best I have seen them hit it this season. They scored 9 runs on Burtons ace in the first inning and finished with 16 hits overall. Jacobs finished with 11 Ks even with his rhythm being disrupted from being pulled and put back in. Tomorrow Slawinski is on the mound and will have to be on his A-game as the Panthers will bring the pressure.

J.C. loses game 2 12-4. Coach gambled and didn't start Slawinski in game 2 and took a took a loss. Do or die game and three starts shortly.

J.C. beats Burton 6-1 in game 3 to advance. Slawinski had 15 K through 7 IP allowing 1 ER off 4 hits and 0 BB. The Eagles advance to face Kenedy who beat Flatonia in 3 games.
