Now that the cowboys have a running game we won't have to worry about Romo having to try to win a game by himself and self destruct!

Glad I picked Murray in my draft in the 5th round. Cowboys looking good but wont get to excited until they play a tough team again. Seahawks arent good and Bills are ok but still the bills

Heck if the cowboys D dosent get anybetter I could see them only winning 1 or 2 more games. Arizona and Tampa Bay...So 9-7....If the D steps it up and they stop the big pass plays then maybe 10-6

Right there with you GFan. They scored a whopping 3 points in the second half Saturday after looking like World Beaters the first half. x_x

Dallas fininshed the last five games winning only one of the five. What a finish!!! When teams are supposed to be peaking this team is stinking. Please Jerry sell the team to someone who knows a little bit about how to run a pro football franchise. Obviously you don't know and your 2 sons more than likely don't have a clue either.

Jerry knows how to run the franchise, but he needs to leave the actual football team alone and hire someone who knows what a team needs to win. Jerry has done alot, heck look at that stadium... He just needs to release the freaking power and leave running the team to people who know what they are doing. Seems like we have alot of talent, but if you have the best racehorse in the world you aren't gonna win anything if you blindfold it. I am not sure on garrett, but I really don't see Romo ever leading the team like Aikman did. We need to build a wall, get some WRs and a ground pounding RB and then put Romo back there, but get McGee alot of game time so he can actually do well when needed until he finally shows he is better than Romo, which if he gets playing time might take half a season or so.. ok I am ramblin....

Now the Cowboys could get P. Manning if they want to.

All the free agent signings look promising, coupled with a good draft we might not choke at the end of the season next year!

Romo did it to me again. Every year he has a game like this and gets my hopes up. Next week in Seattle, he'll throw two pick-6's and I'll be crushed.

*SIGH* :-?

Romo played great tonight. The new additions to defense are starting to gel. The new center did good too once Costa went out.

Great win for Dallas, will Romo keep his composure? Or just choke again?!

This year IS different GT.

Romo will not have to carry this team. I was amazed at the defensive progress. Last season teams were consistently running wide open on passing plays down the field, I had to rewind the DVR just to figure out who was supposed to be covering them. I think Eli had 750 yards or so in two games versus the Cowboys. It's only one game, but we were challenging every pass. Manning's completions came in very tight windows for the most part, and really he was fairly accurate and still only managed 213 yards.

Two new stud corners are going to make recievers and QB's work for every completion. Sean Lee continues to be very good and Bruce Carter had an impressive game as well at MLB. Huge improvement in speed, athleticism, and cover ability at that position over an aging Bradie James and Keith Brooking from last season. Throw an elite pass rusher like Ware in the mix with a few more lunch pail guys in the middle and this defense really has potential.

On the other side, the offensive line has nowhere to go but up. All 5 positions were swapped around with a guy at center who was on the team for a week or less. There will be improvement and they won't be facing Jason Pierre Paul every game (thank goodness, he's a beast). A healthy Murray to complement the usual production from the passing game makes this a top tier NFL offense.

Our punter can kick the crap out of the ball and our kicker has been very consistent.

Put it all together and, barring key injuries, this team has all the makings of a solid playoff team and contender for the championship. Now, they just have to execute... go out there and take it one game at a time.

They sure didnt execute today. Cant blame Romo for all of this either. Dallas' inconsistency is still apparent. That was sad to watch today.

Must say it was a great weekend of football for me. The Trojans won Friday night, the Huskers on Saturday, and my two favorite NFL teams won on Sunday - the Niners and whoever is playing the Cowboys!!!!

It happens. The other teams pay their players $millions too. Cowboys were beat all over the field by a more physical team. Seahawks were built to pound the run, control the clock, and play defense. Spotting them 10 points played directly to their strength at home. Had the two special teams miscues went our way, I think the score would have been reversed. Our defense has changed for speed and cover ability, not to defend against the old school pounding. There's 3-4 teams on the schedule that will work against us and 10-12 where we should have a much better matchup.

I am a big cowboys fan but I'm not expecting them to actually do anything anymore cause they just disapoint you time after time! Seem to find new ways to lose every week. Definitely should have beat Baltimore!
