I’ve gotta say, looking at what has gone down. I’m a lot more proud of Shiner. Then I previously was… Holding Refugio to 26 points, Ganado to 28? One of the worst years for Shiner in decades! And they still did that?

Hey boss! Not football related but how did you find your honeymoon location? How long did it take to travel? Fly though Paris or Istanbul?

Oh man, that was an amazing trip! And we totally came across that by chance. We were looking at the Maldives and came across some info about Mauritius. Never heard of it before, so we looked more into it. It seemed to fit our tastes much much more. Had mountains, parks, beautiful beaches, lots of culture! The different culture and food played into our decision too. So we chose there instead. Overall our travel time was around 35 hours. 21 of that flights. And we went Austin to New York to Nairobi, Kenya to Mauritius. However, there are lots of other options. We booked through Expedia.

We were making sausage for the Windthorst sausage meal yesterday and somebody brought up the island as they knew someone that lives there. And I pulled up your wife’s FB post and was like this island! Looks amazing! Too much air time for my wife’s liking. We’ve done DFW to Honolulu a couple of times and that about killed her and that is just 8.5 hours.

Lol yeah! It was definitely a long one! Not sure we want to do that again either. And that’s wild, I’ve rarely come across anyone that knew where Mauritius was lol! I’ve been to Hawaii as well. That was the longest flight I had been on before this one.

Hey Guys,
My wife, the boys and I are looking to go to Hawaii sometime in the near future. We were wondering about all the fire damage and the other thing that has me worried is that long flight. When I was a kid, we were in Dundee Scotland for five years and we came home every Christmas through New Years and that was a very long flight. That was in the late 1960's and there were times we would fly from London to Greenland or Iceland and then fly to New York and then to Dallas and then finally into Abilene. Back then it was Texas International that would fly into Abilene.
