After Russel left, the cupboard was bare! Russel knew it as well. The new coach was going to be a fall guy no matter who they hired (just didnt have the athletes to win). Community didnt understand this.

Evans won 30 games his last 4 years at Wheeler. Playoffs all 4 seasons.

I was surprised when he left Wheeler for Hamlin knowing the cupboard was bare, but he probably also knew Wheeler was sliding too. They are 5-16 since he left, 1-9 this past season.

Hamlin AD/HF Evans is out. We have a qualified man in house, overwhelming majority consensus for the hire. Board has a wide open layup, better not miss this one. Or it will start rolling at the very top.
