So basically did the season meet expectations. Was there anything surprising. Was there any early round game in the playoffs that had the potential to change the outcome of. How big of a deal was redistricting in influencing this year. Thoughts and opinions welcome on it since 2a division 1 and 2 are in the books.

I really thought Shiner could get over the Refugio hump just one more time before the Bobcats got really good. But they just couldn’t do it. That’s one of my only takeaways. Otherwise everything wasn’t surprising really. I knew that anyone could win state this year. There were at least 5 or 6 teams that could in D1 at least. Hawley proved it was their year in the end.

In D2, Mart losing in the final was a surprise. But they are young and will definitely be back, they always are lol.

Every year there are teams that I expect to do better and something happens and some that come out of nowhere. Injuries took out a few that would have had a better season and one that came to the top was New Home. Can't wait until next year!
