Are Hawley and Timpson senior heavy this year?

With how young Refugio is and with the talent Shiner has in the pipeline who are the 2A teams that will compete after this season? This is the year to beat Refugio, the next 2 years it is hard to see someone playing with them. Same goes for Mart, they are young and could run small school for the next 2 years as well. Every small town has down years with out many athletes, that is never the case for Refugio, Shiner, and Mart.

Timpson has three seniors, two of which start. All of their skill kids are back and their line should be a year older. I expect them to be back in the mix.

I expect a rematch between Timpson and Refugio in the semis next year based on this info. Both will return a bunch. Shiner will be a little down next season. But will still be a playoff team. Potentially 3 or 4 rounds again. However after that, they’ll slowly start coming around again. In about 3 years Shiner will be a legit contender again.

Hawley is fairly senior heavy. Cumpton for sure is a senior, I believe a lot of their lines are as well. Is the QB a senior too? I imagine a few of those receivers are as well. They’re the champs this year! Congrats to them!
