Heckuva ballgame, those who said Windy was hard to pick against were right. The jumped right out to a two score lead and played tough the whole way through. Pirates managed to claw their way way back though in the 4th quarter. Collinsville will face the winner of tomorrows Wink-Albany matchup.

Falls City falls to Granger tonight. We had a great season with a young team. We will be better next year and the years to come.

After getting a stop on 4th down with 5:19 left, Trojans did themselves in by committing an unforced turnover as a bad snap was recovered on their 22 yard line. Pirates would score the game winning TD three plays later with 4:14 left in the game. A 13 yard run and a horse collar penalty moved the ball to the Cville 34 yard line but an interception ended the threat 2 plays later with 3:19 left in the game. Trojans appeared to get a stop on 3rd and 6 with 2:28 left in the game but were called for holding. Still haven’t figured out where it was, much like the holding on the TD that was called back right before halftime which would have extended the lead to at least 27-13. Could of, would of, should of…Cville also had a TD called for an illegal blind side block.
