2021: lost 7-54
2022: lost 7-53

Ganado has to start their off-season today and decide am I sick and tired of this? Are we going to be content with another 3rd round trouncing in 2023?
I hear you, it will probably start tomorrow. At least for all the players not involved in other sports. I am curious though. What does Ganado bring back next season? Losing Bures-Guerrero has to be a massive loss. He has been the vast majority of the offense for the last 4 years.

Ganadofan next year Refugio brings back almost every starter. Around 2025 thou i see a downward turn for Refugio. But 2023 they will be loaded and i think state chanps. This year they are good but a year away from bringing title home.imo.

I do agree next year Refugio wins state. This year it could be them Shiner, Timpson, or someone else maybe.

Ganado does return both rbs although they had I think 500ish rushing yards each. Bures Guerrero closer to 1500. We have a Bures kid who will be a freshman that can probably start. He can catch so may play wr too. Kid is very fast. Could have started on varsity this year imho.

WR we will be fine. We have 2 starters back and 2 that could have been starters.

Qb is the key. Our starting free safety wil be the qb I believe. He pitches on the basball team. He'll be a junior and I believe he is more naturally a qb and has a quick release. He has some speed but won't be able to run but more than a handful of times each game. If he bulks up could be a different story.

We lose a few good linemen and have some coming back. I think we'll be about the same on the line.

Overall it depends on the qb position and rb. I told Bures Guerrero's dad it's a new era of Indian football.scary honestly. My brother graduated with his dad. Idk who knows but Ervin the hc was KBG's uncle.

I do think we can actually be better next year. Key games will be Van Vleck, East Bernard, and Three Rivers. Those will be the difference between 8-2 and 5-5. I like our chances vs Shiner next year more than vs Refugio as they will not be beat at all next year barring injuries.
