I have been getting emails from NFHS for about 3 days advertising Shiner vs Santa Maria bi-district playoff game for tonight. Only to pay a subscription and tune in to an empty Comanche Stadium…. The game is being played in Odem…. I thought maybe it was just me at first. Nope! It was literally everyone! My uncle said it’s happening to Mason too! What a disaster! They refunded my money though.

Luckily, I was able to watch the Refugio/Ben Bolt game. The guys from Refugio Sports Network did the game for NFHS, so I thought it would be good. The broadcast was good. I hope the Refugio guys continue to do their games.

That’s awesome! I hope Shiner goes to a YouTube type network after this contract with NFHS is up. I’m just not impressed with it for the Shiner games. And this blunder was almost like icing on the crap cake…

I was watching the NFHS Ganado vs Thorndale game and the 1st quarter it barely worked.

Refugio/Holland game was not much better. I was told it was not NFHS’s fault, but the stadiums fault, because they did not provide the required Wi-Fi service. Not sure about the other games. I did watch a little bit of Beckville/Joaquin game, and it was OK. But the Timpson game was bad.

Refugio news network is good. The commentary while not always professional is funny. Lol
