#2 Refugio takes on #7 3AD2 George West, This one is my pick for game of the week personally.

#9 2AD1 New Deal @ #3 2AD2 Wellington, another definite contender for best game of this week.

#2 2AD2 Hamlin @ #6 2AD1 Hawley, this one may be better then them all.

#4 2AD1 Cisco @ #4 3AD1 Wall... I change my mind as personal pick for best game this week...

#5 2AD1 San Augustine @ 3AD2 power Waskom, this one should be good too!

I agree with your assessment of the Refugio/ George West game. People are just automatically picking Refugio in this game, but this is a good George West team. Their QB looked good against West Oso, and they are big up front. Refugio surprised some by how they dominated Devine. Refugio’s defense is quick to the ball, and the Soph QB looked very good. We have two of the top receivers in 2A in Jordan Kelley and Antwan Gross. Oh, and they are pretty good on the other side of the ball, too. George West will be amped up for this match up in their house. Of course, I’m going with Refugio in a squeaker.

Definitely some good ones this week

I think the New Deal/Wellington game is going to be a lot closer and it could go either way. I have not heard much on Wall this year, but that one will be a great game! All of them sound awesome though.

A good buddy of mine informed me that he expects George West to get rolled. Refugio is a terrible matchup for them. And he doesn’t think they belong in the top 10 in 3AD2. My buddy is a darn good source too. We’ll have to see what goes down.

Cisco/Wall has been a dogfight every time they've met, a 7 point margin of victory in every game.

Cisco's Sophmore Qb, Hunter Long, had a great first varsity game against Clyde last week with a team high 316 yards rushing. Loboes struggled passing, picking up 36 yards total through the air. Still, a solid win for new head coach Kevin Stinnett.

Wall breezed past Eastland last week, 15 of Eastland's starters sat out for disciplinary reasons.

It’s pouring down rain in Blanco right now. And they have a grass field... might affect the game somewhat
