Tolar and Stratford too low. Corrigan-Camden is undefeated yeah but they aren't a top 10 team. Maybe not even top 20. They get their shot vs Centerville to prove me wrong though. Coleman missing cuts deep but understandable. Although I will say this, I think Colemans 2 losses were against better teams than Shiners 2 losses and Centervilles 2 losses. D2 Albany is too low. Punished for playing bigger schools and might of won those games if they weren't so badly injured at the time. That will clear itself up if you continue your rankings throughout the playoffs. Watching Dawson closely. I'll just assume Mart dominates them as per usual, but I'm more interested in next weeks Dawson and Wortham matchup. That will give more insight than playing Mart imo.

Shiner lost to Hallettsville and Refugio… you really must explain how those losses are worse then anyone else’s lol.

Llano is better than halletsville...and then you compare tolar this season to refugio this season. Refugio is going to get far more credit for beating the mighty back to back state champs. Let's not also ignore the fact that refugio is only in contention with mart as the most dominant team currently in the 2A system. So yeah based on earned wins over the past forever refugio will always get the benefit over almost every team its size, but Tolar has a very good team. Doubt we get to see who is actually better because both teams have 2 big games in the playoffs. Tolar will have Crawford (fingers crossed it's a Coleman rematch) in the region finals then who knows who they'd have to beat out of region 1 in the state semis. Stratford/Cisco/Hawley??? Who knows. At least Refugio knows thier most likely opponents in a Shiner rematch then Timpson.

But is Llano better though? Hallettsville is a very good team. They’ve got 2 losses. The private school in Fort Worth I don’t know much about. But I imagine they’re a pretty good school. It was a 35-34 game. Then they lost to Columbus who is #4 in 3AD1. This past Friday they just upset #2 ranked Hitchcock. The same Hitchcock that beat Refugio to start the year.

I think they are, but I'm no expert. Dave Campbell's has them some experts though. They ranked Llano #5 in 3AD1 this week. Hitchcock dropped out after an embarrassing loss to Halletsville and 2 loss halletsville did not break into the top 10. Harris Polls have them some experts too, and they rank every team in each classification. They have Llano #10 and Halletsville #15 after thier big win over hitchcock. So end of the day your own opinion is whatever you want to believe, but me and the experts got Llano being better than Halletsville.

That’s cool and all, we’re all entitled to our own opinion. But your really trying to use the “experts” who create those rankings to further your argument. Literally after they were proven wrong about Hitchcock being ranked number 2? And even explained that in your argument? Sorry I just had to point that out. Lol

It's a mute point. Unless Tolar and Refugio meet in state and Llano and Halletsville meet in the semis we'll never know. I guess we could go off of how far each teams goes into the playoffs but again that's not going to be a fair comparison as some regions are much deeper than others.

I agree, I’m just pulling your chain. I know there is absolutely no way of knowing the answer to any of this lol. Lots of football to be played. And this season I feel many teams are more evenly matched then the last few years. It really is anyones guess. Shiner could beat Refugio in a rematch. Timpson May crush eithers dreams. Corrigan-Camden and Centerville will have a lot to say in that region too. And as you pointed out. There’s a long list of teams that could represent Region 1 or 2. Might be a fun playoff!

I hope we both get to avenge our district losses. That would mean both our teams are in the region champs. Shiner has a much better chance than coleman does though lol.
