Boles 26 Hawkins 22 Final
Boles outscored Hawkins 19-6 in the second half after switching to the spread offense and missing less tackles on Hawkins big RB who scored all 3 Hawkins TDs.
Boles lead 20-16 after 3 quarters after a short TD run from So. RB/WR Morgan and 39 yard Td pass from Jr. QB Lively to Sr. WR Staggs. Boles retook the lead in the 4th when Lively connected with Staggs for a 9 yard TD pass. Interceptions by Staggs and Morgan in the final minutes sealed the victory for Boles. Morgan also had an Interception on the first play of the game that lead to a Boles turnover on downs inside the Hawkins 5.
Lively was 9-16 for 156 yards and 2 Tds and had a 2 yard rushing TD. Sr. QB/RB Drennan led the team in rushing with
72 yards on 15 carries and was 3-4 passing for 17 yards, while leading the defense with 9 tackles.
