Very impressive win over Coleman.
Cisco vs Hawley will be another good one.
Region 1 was loaded this year from top to bottom.

Cisco vs Hawley at Shotwell Stadium (Abilene) - Friday at 7pm... Home and Visitor was decided again by a major college game. Ohio State at Michigan, Combined overall score, Even would be Cisco, Odd would be Hawley... Hawley will be the Home team... Should be another great game. Go Bearcats !!!

Something else that I forgot to mention... Both the Coleman & Hawley Bands combined at halftime to play the Andrews High School Song and Fight Song during the halftime show. These two combined bands met in the shoulder of the south end zone and learned these two songs before the game. They played these two songs in both directions to each of the crowds in the stands. If I understood correctly, there was an Andrews' student with the Andrews' School Flag waving on the field during the playing of these songs. VERY IMPRESSIVE !!!! It certainly pulled at your heart strings.... Great Job to the Coleman and Hawley Bands !!! Continued Condolences to the Andrews' Band, School, and Community !!!!

Hawley Bad News - Austin Cumpton Out For the Season...
On the opening drive of the Hawley / Coleman game, it started with a bang as Cumpton scored from 10 yards out, getting flipped by a Coleman defender and landing on his head in the end zone for a 7-0 lead. Austin was treated for concussion protocols and passed, but what we would find out Monday was that he fractured his back when he landed on his head. What is so very scary about this is, that he played the rest of the game lights out not knowing that this had happened. This is very scary because he could have been paralyzed. I hated this for this kid, but I am so very thankful that he is alright. It's also a tough loss for us, but he had already missed time (about six weeks) with a knee injury earlier in the season. So, we will have to step up in other areas... Go Bearcats !!!
