Then it would be 98 in each division. Keeps 16 teams south of I-10 in the process in 2AD1. Be easier to keep region 4 similar. D14 could have Mason, Ozona, Sonora, Harper, Reagan County And Junction. D13 would stay the same. D15 would add Skidmore-Tynan and D16 would stay the same.

If you make it 105-162 for D2 and 163-232 in D1 you could make it 95 in each. I’m sure this will have a lot to do with how many schools they want to keep in 3AD2

That’s good news for Cooper. Whitewright would come down if that’s the case & slide into that district with Tioga, Tom Bean, Trenton etc... HornetFan, didn't you say that Boles would be going up this time probably? I wonder if they would take the place of Celeste in that Cooper district?

Boles turned in 168. Switching Celeste and Boles would be the easy fix. D2 is Great for Celeste, Boles will have trouble making the playoffs in D1. Would have been alot of close games for Boles this year vs Wolfe City, Alba-Golden, Rivercrest, and Honey Grove.

It might be easier to send Mason, Harper, Sonora, Christoval, and Reagan County to Region 1, bring Thorndale’s district back to Region 4, and adjust Regions 1-2-3. We’re one of the few schools that have been in every region, and we’ve been in 1-2-4 within the past three decades.

If Reagan County drops, then Anthony will as well. This presents a problem. I think RC will definitely be hooked in with Anthony and could see Ozona, Sonora and maybe christoval also in there.

Back in 2015 District 3 was Anthony, Christoval, McCamey, and Ozona. Anthony dropping makes for some long road trips!!

Looks like a district with Collinsville, Lindsay, Era, Chico, and Muenster makes too much sense not to happen. Would be tough for Collinsville to go East as most of those schools are Div 1. That would send Windthorst and Petrolia back West. I know Collinsville has never been in district Windthorst but has caught Petrolia a handful of times before.

2002-2004 Alignment Petrolia was sent east with Collinsville, Era, Lindsay, Muenster, and Saint Jo while we had Albany, Archer City, Perrin-Whitt, Santo and Throckmorton. 2002 we ran lonesome man to beat Albany 14-6, which was the play we socred against Wellington last year.

Seymour and Quanah are on Padilla's cut line to go up. Olney will be DI. AC, Electra, Munday, Petrolia, and us in a 5 team district.

Is there a website where you can look up previous districts that schools were in? I am curious to see how the central Texas area has looked over the years for the 2a schools.

I could see a world here soon where Mason is no longer in region 4 based on these logistics. I’m not sure though. With Schulenburg likely going up there will only be 14 schools remaining south of I-10. I don’t see a world where they make a 4 team district. Could see 2 districts with 7 teams each. I hope not, but it’s possible. Or they drag down Thorndale and maybe even Hearne to a district with Shiner, Flatonia and Weimar to try and even things out. Either way, if the current D14 gets put in a different region. They’ll have to make 4 districts in region 4 somehow. So which direction do they go to make up for it? As I said, if you reach for 240 you avoid most of this. Something the UIL will most likely consider
